Director Statement
Fashion is a form of self expression as much as self expression gives form to fashion. But when meeting a brand new collection in runway format, why are viewers often deprived of meeting the wearers of that collection? I wanted to challenge this norm conceptually by including unexpected insights into our cast; who proved to be so much more than their traditional 'model' titles. Techniques such as leaking light through crystal lenses, the nostalgic handycam shooting style and scoring choice were very intentional in visually expressing the core concept.
