Detox

The story signifies the co-existence of two parallel worlds:
MANKIND and NATURE. The film is focused on the contrasting aspects of pollution that the fashion industry engenders. Nature and Mankind walk parallely yet are deeply intertwined. Both of them go through excruciating pain. Also, the pain incurred by one is felt by the other. It’s in the inherent nature of ‘nature’ to give back. The narration beautifully encapsulates dominance of the nature which helps in bringing everything to its original raw state – ‘the untouched beauty’

Neel Sawant

Neel Sawant is a film student presently completing his Master of Arts in Film and Television at SCAD. Having completed his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Neel began making vine videos on Instagram that not only introduced him into the world of storytelling but also got him a job at a reputed advertising agency where he continued to work for 2 years, as a DP and editor. He also got familiar with graphic design and 2D animations while he worked at the agency. At this point in time, he decided to move his roots from the science field into arts, and hence went ahead to pursue his education at a film school. Having the main focus on being a DP, he also has an interest in being a director. DETOX is Neel’s first directing project.
