au philia follows the life of a young woman existing in 2084. Water pollution affects every aspect of her life, from her morning coffee to the way she does her laundry. Ophelia tries to acknowledge and do her part to stop the pollution through sustainable actions like using a washboard and wearing secondhand clothing, but one person alone cannot undo the damage done by corporations.

Abbey Wiggam & Celeste Miller

Abbey Wiggam is a fashion marketing student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. As a chair on the Slow Fashion Club, she is passionate about educating sustainability in fashion as well as reshaping the industry to be more diverse and representational of marginalized communities. She is inspired by kitsch, clowns, and clown kitsch.

Growing up in a big city, Celeste has always been most comfortable in a fast-paced environment and is a natural born leader. As a rising senior fashion marketing student at Savannah College of Art and Design, she is passionate about making the world a more beautiful place to live in through her work. When she is not directing/producing fashion films, she is taking film photos, photo assisting in the studio, modeling, collaging, writing, reading, or laying in the park.

The unique L.A. Fashion Festival content was created by SCAD School of Fashion students in collaboration with students from the award-winning SCAD film and television program.
