Raise your glass and sip fine complimentary selections from the Puma Road Winery, see you on the stage!

The Franscioni family has worked the Salinas Valley soil for four generations. In the early 1890s, Silvio Franscioni Sr. settled a ranch outside of Gonzales with his beloved wife Maria and their children. What began as a dairy operation developed into a row crop farm. The owner of Puma Road winery, Ray Franscioni–Silvio’s grandson, is keeping the farming tradition vibrant and alive. His business ambitions reached beyond raising dairy cows and farming lettuce. While growing 6,000 acres of row crops, he decided to embark on a vineyard operation in the early 1990s.

For more than 20 years, Franscioni has been a prominent grape-grower in the Monterey County region. His operation has evolved into growing 2,000 acres of vines while continuing the family row crop business. About half of the grape yield is grown in the Santa Lucia Highlands; the other portion grows in the Paicines AVA.

About a decade after becoming grape growers, the Franscioni’s decided to craft wine themselves. The family produced their first vintage in 2003 under the label RF Wines. More than a decade later, Puma Road Winery now produces 4,500 cases per year. They proudly continue to grow 15 varietals. The winery is a thriving, local-based establishment that strongly reflects the Santa Lucia Highlands as well as the Paicines AVA. The earthy flavors and rich minerality of the soils create the unique wines one can only experience at Puma Road down the River Road Wine Trail.

We invite you to visit our Santa Lucia Highlands tasting room, situated on the original homestead the Franscioni family settled so many years ago. Experience the hospitality and local knowledge upon which we pride ourselves.

Ti & CoCo’s eco-consciously created Aloha shirts and Women's wear made with Organic Cotton, Linen and Lenzing Tencel / Modal are available for guests to purchase. Along with our Hawaii-inspired clothing, we showcase a few items from a Venice based women's sustainable wetsuits brand, Mermaid Wave Wear, using eco-friendly Solvent free Aqua-α. Ti & CoCo’s designer, Hilo will be at the booth to happily answer questions about the brand.

It all happened right after finding about how dangerous the conventional cotton industry is, the idea of creating our sustainable clothing brand was hatched. We researched for more sustainable choices of fabrics and materials to create our brand as eco-conscious as possible. Ti & CoCo was established in the Spring of 2019 in Maui, Hawaii after designing conventionally made textiles for over a decade. Our design studio is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest that is almost untouched, where plants still play an important role in the daily lives of the people. Our name Ti & CoCo, comes from the Ti Leaf and the Coconut, two plants that are sacred in Polynesian culture. To us, the Ti Leaf is a symbol of our mission to be green, while the Coconut signifies clean water, which is vital for an everlasting planet. Just as the plants are clean and pure, it is our goal to have our clothing line be the same. For every single item that we create and use, we are constantly revising and updating our methods to ensure they are as environmentally sustainable as possible.

  • Our current fabric choices for our clothing are: 100% organic cotton, 100% linen and Lenzing fabrics, one of the world's leading environmentally conscious textile producers, as we proudly use their Modal and Tencel fabrics.

  • Our clothing labels that are sewn on our clothing are made with 100% organic cotton.

  • Our clothing hang tags and clothing shopping bags are mostly reclaimed or recycled paper material, and most are not bleached. Our individual garment bags are 100% biodegradable made of cassava starch by Avani Eco, for a replacement of plastic bags.

We are inspired to protect and preserve this beautiful, nourishing planet that we call home. Ti & CoCo is the manifestation of our mission and wish for sustainability, ethical, eco-friendly and conscious fashion - the way of the future!

With aloha and appreciation for Mother Earth

OSM

OSM 16-9 Banner Image.jpg

We create genderless perfumes that reignite the best of times. Our fragrances are crafted in small batches from sustainable materials, hand-blended and bottled with passionate care in our Los Angeles studio.

Conceived of in 2016, founders Kyle and Michael Mott-Kannenberg strived to create a fragrance line that would include all the things they loved - scent, visual art, design and human connection. OSM, Olfactory Sense Memory, was born out of the idea to artistically share our memories through scent with the rest of the world. It is well known that our brains have a deep connection to scent and memory. The brain stores memories through a network of neurons that associate with one another. The more connections those neurons build to one another, the stronger the memory is. It’s this lattice work that is what we now know to be a memory. Similarly in a perfume, links are made between molecules which when combined together make up something that is greater than its individual parts. To this end, one could say that the perfume is already a memory in itself, just waiting for the wearer to let it compose and write one in their brain.

Kyle’s background in chemistry allows him to focus his energy on developing scents that reflect the artistic visuals of OSM’s creative director, Michael. The first four fragrances (28, 84, 15 and 97) were released in November of 2018. They plan to have their fifth fragrance release in November of 2019 for the holiday season.

We are conscious of our carbon footprint and effects on the planet, so we want our fragrances to be sustainable and our packaging to be as minimal as possible. We also want to give back to the earth. Therefore, we have partnered with 1% For the Planet, an organization whose mission is to “build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet.” 1% of all OSM’s sales go back to the organization.

Kyle will be on hand in the expo space to answer questions about the line. In addition, he will be creating custom perfumes for those who would like to share memories they think should be bottled.

noissue will be supplying custom printed LAFF tissue paper to our Expo vendors, to wrap up those special sustainable goodies!

IGStory-LAFF.png

Look for the drop box and pop your card inside, one lucky brand will receive 250 of these 100% compostable mailers!

We didn’t set out to start a tissue company. In fact, noissue was born out of necessity in 2017. We were looking at packaging for a previous endeavour, and couldn’t find exactly what we needed. Since we’re not much for sitting about and making do, we decided to fill that gap in the market. Noissue was started with a single intention: to make premium custom tissue attainable for brands at any stage of business.

Our company is based on a few core beliefs. At the heart of those beliefs is a focus on customer satisfaction. Our customers have helped shape what noissue is today. To be frank, it’s not really about us —it’s more about what you need to help your business be the best it can be.

We believe that sustainable packaging doesn't have to be unattainable. You can be environmentally conscious and responsible while creating a premium product for your customers to enjoy, and we can help you do it.

We chose the name ‘noissue’ because we’re committed to eliminating the unnecessary issues that can crop up with custom production. Our goal is to make packaging easy, so you can get back to what’s most important: your business.

LA Fashion Festival 2019 Debuts Matthew Rolston’s “Hollywood Royale: Out of the School of Los Angeles” as a First-Ever Untethered Virtual Reality Gallery Experience, Presented by The Mill

Glamour, high technology, sustainability and style come together in a unique form at LAFF19: a virtual reality gallery experience of celebrity photographer Matthew Rolston’s 1980s retrospective exhibition, “Hollywood Royale: Out of the School of Los Angeles.” Utilizing Oculus Quest, the latest in untethered headset technology, The Mill, an international leader in VFX and creative content, has authored this first-of-its-kind moment in Hollywood history.

From Michael Jackson to Madonna, from Prince to George Michael, Cyndi Lauper and many more, the portraits of Hollywood Royale comprise a literal ‘who’s-who’ of ‘80s pop culture, commissioned largely for Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine and Jann Wenner’s Rolling Stone. Matthew Rolston’s influential photographic approach will be displayed in a hyper-realistic three-dimensional virtual gallery space. Don a headset and take an intimate ‘journey’ through Rolston’s photographs, curated and guided by the artist himself, as he narrates some of the personal stories behind these timeless images.

Rolston’s Hollywood Royale VR gallery will be on display September 20-21 at the Los Angeles Fashion Festival, an innovative showcase for the very latest in film, innovation, beauty and retail. In accordance with the theme of its 2019 season, LAFF believes sustainability shouldn’t be a luxury; it should be a way of life.

Sustainability can be expressed in many forms, and one of them, according to Rolston, is “the sustainability of cultural memory.” Rolston’s photographs of the 1980s are highly inflected by the visual history of Hollywood’s Golden Age, and as such, help to sustain the cinema city’s traditions of high style and theatricality.

Featured Artist: One of a handful of artists to emerge in the 1980s from Andy Warhol’s celebrity-focused Interview magazine, Matthew Rolston has since become a well-established icon of Hollywood photography. Alongside such image-makers as Greg Gorman and Herb Ritts, Rolston was a member of an influential group of photographers (among them, Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz, and Steven Meisel) who came from the ‘80s magazine scene. Rolston’s work has helped define the contemporary aesthetics of American portraiture; his 1980s images are notable for their glamorous lighting and detail-rich sets. Rolston’s photographs have been exhibited worldwide and are in the permanent collections of LACMA and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., among others. The works in Hollywood Royale are exclusively represented in the United States by Fahey/Klein Gallery, Los Angeles.

Experience Producer: Poised as a cornerstone of LA fashion events, LA Fashion Festival (LAFF) showcases progressive ideas via an immersive cultural experience of film, retail, innovation, and beauty influences. Founded on the basis of inclusion, sustainability, and community, LAFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit platform produced by The kulturspace Foundation for forward-thinking creatives & brands to showcase collaborations and incite meaningful exchanges.

Immersion Producer: With studios across three continents, The Mill, an international leader in high-technology entertainment, content creation and VFX, is made up of artists, technologists, and makers for all media, working at the frontiers of visual narrative. Built on the bedrock of cinematic legacy and high-profile fashion commercial work, The Mill uses virtual and augmented realities to imagine and build the future of interactive and immersive experiences.
