Stephen Ringer
Stephen Ringer was born on December 12, 1984, in Dallas, Texas. Before he became a cinematographer/director/producer, Ringer was a photojournalist, gaffer and camera seeker.
His career began in 2009 when he began making independent short films.
Ringer's biggest work was the 2015 film, Weepah Way For Now. The film, which starred Aly & AJ Michalka, was directed and written by Ringer.
As for producing. Ringer was behind the short film, The Films of Avi Krum, Sequoia and Weepah Way for Now. He has also been the cinematographer on other projects and the director on Leighton Meester's "Heartstings" video.
In 2013, Stephen Ringer and Aly Michalka began dating after meeting on the set of Sequoia and got married shortly after.
