Shooted entirely in Pantelleria, Sicily, taking inspiration from Luca Guadagnino thriller "a bigger splash". I imagined 4 guys who, like in a dream, simply breathe the air of a magical place. A simple one minute present to give to the viewer, no marketing stuff just a moment of escape when we are all locked up.
Riccardo Lupo
41 years old from Palermo. After high school, at the age of 18 he worked as an assistant for Mimmo Cuticchio, the famous puppeteer and UNESCO tradition heritage. He trained in Bologna at the Galante Garrone theater school and perfected at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sidney. Back in Italy he began to work as assistant director with Carlo Cecchi in theater with whom he collaborated for about four years in various shows.
His love for cinema was born in this period, which led him to work in dozens of independent shorts and films as assistant director as well as in the most disparate roles, including as a leading actor in the film "Principessa" by Giorgio Arcelli Fontana at the alongside Piera Degli Esposti and Michele Riondino.
He deals with direction and video production, focusing in particular on institutional and fashion commercials. He has directed over 70 videos that have totaled millions of views with national and international distribution among many: Lombardy Region, Sardinia Region, Moscow City, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Italian League for the Fight against Tumors, Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies; and among the private individuals Doppiomalto, Starcasinò, Tuito, Giglio.com, Robe di Kappa, Kappa sport, Palermo F.C., Napoli F.C. and numerous others.
Author and co-author of several screenplays since 2017 he founded the Videonest independent production house based in Palermo with which he is working on the production of a TV series and two films.
