The characters in this suggestive film all seem trapped within their own scenes, within their own emotional lives, their own personae. We see them trying to cope and to break free. We follow these characters as if the film were a photographic series: capturing each of them in their own microcosmos, alone yet connected to one another through the shared dynamic of their experiences.

Amsterdam-based filmmaker Thomas Nuijten graduated with honors for his BA and MA in film at the Royal Academy of Arts in Ghent, Belgium. Thomas has developed an elegant visual language, appealing to the emotional and intellectual registers of the viewer. His work spans fiction (short) films, fashion films and music videos.
