Covered by Cosmopolitan Japan like one of the 5 “Girls of The World – Fun, Fearless and Ambition”, Cristina Streciwik is one of the founders of creative boutique film production company Planalto based in São Paulo-Brazil, where she ran and directed until the beginning of 2018.
Graduated in Design and formed in Filmmaking by New York Film Academy, she started drawing attention with her strong sensitive point of view in 2014 winning the Future Talent Awards at Music Video Festival in São Paulo.
Since then she directed several commercial films for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Old Spice, Dove, Netflix, Natura and agencies like Wieden Kennedy and F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi.
Cristina also had always a huge connection with music and fashion whats is clear when it comes to her personal work, inspired on young urban lifestyle with a surreal aesthetic twist. In the past 5 years she directed several music videos for MTV and alternative bands in São Paulo such as Banda Uó, Aldo The Band and a FFW Magazine featured profile-music-fashion-film of french singer Petite Meller. She also directed dozens of fashion films for local scene brands such as Ale Britto and Cotton Project and international brands like Melissa and Away to Mars, one of her last projects filmed in Iceland and exhibeted at Berlin Fashion Film Awards.
